GOSHEN, Ind. - Interim Men's Soccer Head Coach
Dan Sullivan has been elevated to the Head Coach position at Goshen College for the upcoming 2023 season, effective July 1. Sullivan was named interim head coach in late April.
"Coach Sullivan has proven to be a vision-driven coach who cares deeply for our student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Dr. Erica Albertin. "He is an experienced coach and is a great addition to our athletic department. He enthusiastically said yes to the interim role, and has proven to be the right person for the head coaching job. I am confident he will lead the program to new heights!"
Sullivan has been an assistant men's soccer coach at Goshen College since 2016, and served as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team last season. He joined the Maple Leafs after seven seasons as the head boys soccer coach at Elkhart Memorial High School in Elkhart from 2009-15, where he went 50-55-15 and led the Crimson Chargers to their first sectional title of the millennium in his final season.
The men's soccer program at Goshen College has been one of the Maple Leafs' most successful teams. Since their inception in 1958, the team has an all-time record of 553-408-72.
