GOSHEN, Ind. — Carmin Corey, a freshman on the women's volleyball team, has been named the Everence Student-Athlete of the Week for October 13 - October 19!

Corey posted a .309 hitting percentage for the week, setting a season-high with nine kills on Wednesday before surpassing it with 14 in Saturday's win at Saint Francis. She also added a solo block, three block assists, and six digs during the week.

Goshen swept the season series against Saint Francis - the first time they had done so against the Cougars since 2015. It was also their first season series sweep of any conference opponent since 2019, and their first road five-set win since 2019.

The Everence Student-Athlete of the Week award recognizes outstanding performances by Goshen College student-athletes and is selected each week by the GC sports information office. It is sponsored by Everence, a faith-based financial services organization headquartered in Goshen.
