GOSHEN, Ind. - The 2025 Academic All-District® men's and women's soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, was announced on Tuesday, and Goshen had eight student-athletes make the team. Iker Fernandez-Andes, Adrian Gonzalez Martinez, Karlee Ballast, Jessica Brito, Yvonne Friedmann, Aina Lopez, Isabel Massud and Mackenzie Mast earned the recognition.

The awards recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in their sports and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

From the Crossroads League, there were 22 men and 36 women that made the team.

The Academic All-America® award is the longest-running and most prestigious academic and athletic award for student-athletes, being given out yearly since 1952. The Academic All-District® award is given to student-athletes with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average that are sophomores athletically and academically. Individuals must have been nominated by their Sports Information Department and meet specific performance mininums for their sport. For soccer, they must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
