GOSHEN, Ind. — Sarah Elfrey, a junior on the women's basketball team, has been named the Everence Student-Athlete of the Week for December 8 - December 14!
Elfrey had nine rebounds, four steals and three blocks - all season-highs - in Goshen's 38-point win over IU-Columbus on Saturday. She had never scored more than two points in a game this season, but scored 14 in this game, shooting 71%.
The 38-point win is Goshen's largest margin of victory over an Indiana school since 2002. Elfrey had four of Goshen's 19 steals - their highest total in a game since beating Andrews on October 27, 2021.
Way to go, Sarah!
