HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Goshen men's basketball season ended on Saturday at Huntington, with the #14 Foresters coming out on top 91-56.
Goshen finished the season with more wins than the past two years combined, but was unable to get a Crossroads League win.
The Foresters had the lead from start to finish and finished with six players scoring in double figures, led by 24 points from Lane Sparks. Huntington will be the #3 seed in the league tournament. Goshen had a field goal percentage of 33% and shot 18% behind the arc. The Foresters shot 52% and 38% from deep.
Richard Wilson had 13 points and six rebounds for Goshen.
Judah Simfukwe scored 11 and
Saiveon Williams had a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds off the bench. His ten rebounds are a season-high and the ten points are his third-highest total this season.
Kenny May totaled eight points with five rebounds.
Marcus Northern scored seven points.
