HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Goshen lost on the road at Huntington on Saturday afternoon. The Foresters moved to 17-11 with the 75-64 win as Goshen fell to 11-16.
The Maple Leafs will be the #8 seed in the Crossroads League tournament, facing #1 Indiana Wesleyan on Wednesday, February 26, at 7:00 pm in Marion, Indiana.
Goshen led after the first quarter, but the Foresters outscored Goshen by nine in the second. Huntington's lead stayed at seven after the third quarter and grew to 11 by the end of the game.
The Leafs shot 19% in the second quarter and 16% from three in the game. Goshen held Huntington to 27% from deep, but the home team made 15 of their 18 free-throws and shot 45% overall from the field.
Zion Neat had 19 points, with 17 of them coming after halftime.
Lillian Null scored 13 points off the bench and shot 5-8.
Syanne Mohamed had six points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.
Kiana Oelling scored eight points and led the team with four assists.
Emme Boots had six points and eight boards.
