MELBOURNE, Fla. - Goshen went 2-1 during their second day at the Space Coast Spring Games. They beat Oakland City 8-7 in a game that was rescheduled from Monday night due to rain and beat them again 10-2 in the second game of the doubleheader, needing just five innings before the mercy rule set in. Then in the evening, the Leafs lost to Fort Lauderdale, as the Eagles won 12-1.

Shea VanScoter had an RBI bunt single and
Brinleigh Arredondo had an RBI sac fly.
Camryn Barrows hit a home run in the fourth, the first of her collegiate career, to make it 6-2.

Game Two
The Maple Leafs came out ready to attack in the second of three games on the day. Goshen had five runs on four hits in the first inning and capitalized off of two Oakland City errors.
Alyssa McDonald and
Shea VanScoter hit RBI singles,

Camryn Barrows scored on a passed ball in the third and Schmitt and Arredondo crossed the plate after a fielding error later in the inning. By then it was 9-0.
Barrows was on the mound for Goshen and threw five innings, giving up two earned runs on just three hits. She had three strikeouts and two walks. At the plate she finished 2-3 with two runs, just like the first game. Barrows had four hits in her six at-bats against Oakland City on Tuesday. She had one hit in 11 at-bats all of last season.
