GOSHEN, Ind. — Aina Lopez, a senior on the women's soccer team, has been named the Everence Student-Athlete of the Week for August 25 - August 31!
Lopez allowed 0.50 goals per game and had a save percentage of .950, making 19 saves as Goshen tied twice this week. She leads all Crossroads League goalies with 24 saves this season - six more than the next highest player. Her save percentage of .923 is tied for the fourth-best in the conference. Goshen tied 0-0 with Olivet Nazarene, who is receiving votes in the coaches poll, and tied 1-1 with IU-Northwest.

The Everence Student-Athlete of the Week award recognizes outstanding performances by Goshen College student-athletes and is selected each week by the GC sports information office. It is sponsored by Everence, a faith-based financial services organization headquartered in Goshen.
