GOSHEN, Ind. - Kevin Cota had 14 points and 10 rebounds as Goshen was defeated by #1 Grace by a score of 104-83 in the Ruth Gunden Gymnasium on Saturday.

The Maple Leafs got off to a good start, scoring the first five points of the game. They led for the first five minutes before Grace took its first lead of the contest. The game remained even until five minutes to play in the first half.

As they went to the free throw line with just over five minutes left in the first half and the score at 31-30, the Lancers went on a 16-2 run to end the half. They scored 13 consecutive points from the end of the first half into the start of the second. During this run, the Maple Leafs missed seven shots and committed turnovers.

In the second half, Caleb Thompson scored three consecutive 3-point shots in a 54 second span. Thompson had three career highs in the game: points (12), field goals (4) and 3-point shots made (3). Thompson had the second highest points total on the Goshen team.

Kamren Williams' impressive run of form continued as he recorded ten or more points for the fourth game in a row. Williams also had his third game in a row with five or more assists.

Jacob Eyler had a career high in points with five and Vassilis Petridis recorded his first career field goal.
