Maple Leafs named to NAIA Winter Sport Daktronics Scholar-Athletes list

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Seven Goshen College student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 NAIA Winter Sport Daktronics Scholar-Athlete list, announced by the NAIA on Tuesday. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the winter sports who have excelled academically.

To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.

Here are the Goshen College student-athletes who earned this distinction:

Men's Bowling: Andrew Jackson
Women's Bowling: Bailey Friars, Rebekah Muzyk
Men's Basketball: Deecon Hill, Kenny May, Juraj Minarovjech
Women's Basketball: Ava Egolf
