Carl Steen III joined the Maple Leafs men's basketball program in 2022 as its strength and conditioning coach. Steen is a personal trainer/sports performance specialist and an ordained elder. The South Bend native graduated from Goshen College in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in business. A member of the GC men's basketball team as well, he was named first-team all-defense in the Mid-Central College Conference in 2011. Steen enjoys exercising, attending church, playing with his children, reading, and listening to podcasts. Steen lives with his spouse Octavia and their children, Ava, Sinai, and Carl IV.
