Erik Bowen

Erik Bowen

Bowen is a 2018 alumnus of Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, where he played basketball for four seasons and scored 1,468 career points. He was a three-time All-Crossroads League selection for the Lancers, peaking with a third-team selection in 2017.

After graduation, Bowen served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater. He is a native of Kokomo, Indiana, where he helped the Wildkats to four straight sectional championships from 2011-14 along with an appearance in the 2011 state championship game.

Bowen joined the Maple Leafs in the fall of 2020 and served on the staffs of head coaches Jon Tropf and Kyle Capps. He was the interim head coach from March through June 2025.

"Erik brings unique experience to us since he comes from a local rival," former Goshen head men's basketball coach Jon Tropf said. "He was an accomplished player, but he is also an impressive young man who fits our program's core values well. He has been around successful programs and can bring those experiences and knowledge to our team. He was an all-conference post player who will immediately help with the development of our front line."
