AT GOSHEN:
2019-20:
 Played 24 games off the bench for an average of 6.5 minutes a game ... shot .875 at the foul line, a team high with no minimum number of attempts ... added 16 rebounds, 10 of which came on the offensive glass ... chipped in 6 assists and 5 steals ... shot 35 percent from the floor ... scored 6 or more points three times, including a season-high 12 vs. Huntington 12/3 ... that night he was 4-6 from the floor, 2-4 from 3-point range and 2-2 from the foul line ... his only game with multiple 3-pointers ... was perfect from the free-throw line five times ... also scored 9 points 2/11 vs. Taylor ... pulled down 3 rebounds 11/9 vs. Concordia ... upped his career high to 4 boards 12/14 vs. Indiana Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Rich Schelsky at Parke Heritage High School … three-year all-conference selection … scored 1,702 career points … honorable-mention small-school all-state … won FCA character award … also played baseball … National Honor Society member … graduated with academic excellence certificate.

PERSONAL:
Born on February 14 … parents are Nick and Sheila Newnum … brother to Corey (38), Melanie (40) and Lainey (29) … chose Goshen because “it was the best fit for me spiritually, academically and athletically” … admires his father “because he always pushes me and is always there for me” … little-known personal fact is “I’m an uncle to 10 children” … best athletic moment was “hitting 12 threes in one game my freshman year.”
