AT GOSHEN:
2016:
Started 13 games and made three more reserve appearances ... lone assist of season came on go-ahead goal in 22nd minute 10/5 vs. Marian ... season-high two shots on goal in six games, none of which were consecutive ... fourth on team with 17 shots ... named men's soccer recipient of #OneLeaf Leadership Award. 2015: Started all 18 games on defense ... one of five players (three freshmen) to play in each contest and three players (two freshmen) to start them all ... 19 shots and 12 shots on goal, third on the team in both categories ... put 63.2 percent of his shots on frame, the second-highest mark among GC players with 10 or more shots ... took a shot in 11 of 18 games ... first career goal, with 6:49 before halftime on Aug. 25 vs. Siena Heights, gave his team a 1-0 win ... first career assist was the golden goal in 2-1 overtime win over Spring Arbor on Sept. 30.

Played at West Salem High School … three-time all-conference pick and all-Mid Valley first team … 2014 all-Mid Valley Player of the Year … 2012 CVC champion and player of the year … two all-state selections (first team 2012, second team 2014) … also participated in track … graduated from dual-language program as class valedictorian … Advanced Placement scholar with distinction.

Born on November 1 … parents are Jeff and Margaret Aeschliman… has a brother, Stuart (18) … chose Goshen because of “great people, great atmosphere, great academics and a great soccer program.”
