PERSONAL:
Born on April 17 ... parents are Jim and Julie Grider ... chose Goshen because of "the coaching staff and the basketball players there. I really believe in them and they all believe in me. Not to mention they are all fun to be around."... admires his father because "he taught me how to pay basketball and how to respect the game. Also he is my biggest role model because he has helped me the most to grow into a very successful young man." ... most successful athletic moment: "earning conference player of the year my senior year, earning Academic All-Ohio first team because only 15 players are chosen for that, or the day I signed to play college basketball because I met my biggest goal that I have had since I started playing ball in 3rd grade." ... little-known personal fact: "I love socks, especially basketball ones, of all sorts of colors."
