Stephanie Miller

  • Title
    Head Coach

Stephanie Miller enters her first season as the Head Women's Basketball Coach in 2011-12.  She becomes the 7th leader of the Maple Leafs in the program's 46-year history.

A 1997 graduate of Michigan State University, Miller has spent the past 12 years as a high school teacher and coach, as well as working camp and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) circuits.

"After spending most of my career in high school basketball, elite AAU programs, as well as in the direction of McCracken women's basketball camps, I was looking for a new type of challenge," Miller said of her decision to join the Maple Leaf program. "The opportunity to direct the Goshen women's basketball program in a new and exciting direction is not only a wonderful fit for me personally, but I believe I can also make a positive impact in the lives of these young student athletes as well."

The majority of Miller's career has been spent at Hill McCloy High School in Montrose (Mich.) where she has held the post of head varsity coach since 2000.  She also had a five-year stint as head softball coach, combining to post a .655 winning percentage and coach 15 future collegiate athletes.

Miller has also coached high level AAU basketball for nearly ten years in several age brackets.  Her Michigan Spartans 16U team were national runner-ups in 1998 with her teams reaching the state tournament on a total of three occasions.  She has also been a camp site director for McCracken Basketball Camps since 1992.
