HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Don Helmick at Cascade High School … four-year varsity letterwinner and three-year all-conference and all-county pick … won the Tater Award … all-state honorable mention … scored more than 500 career points and finished among the top five scorers in school history … also a four-year varsity softball player, winning all-county recognition … played volleyball … was a peer tutor, on the honor roll, and College Summit mentor.

PERSONAL:
Born on October 6 … parents are Dustin Stein and Christina Merrick … has two siblings, Lillie Stein (17) and Messer Merrick (2) … chose Goshen because “it was a small area like where I grew up, everyone on campus is super friendly and you’re always making new friends, and the teammates you have become family as you all work together for one goal … it’s already like a second home for me” … little-known personal fact is “I love all animals, especially my animals, all 16 of them” … admires Tim Garver “because of the role he played in my life – he always believed in me when no one did and made me not only the player but the person I am today” … best athletic moment was “winning conference in basketball all four years.”
