Played for coach Myron Bontreger at Goshen High School … was all-conference for two years … all-district first-team during junior year … all-district second-team during senior year … best offensive player for two years … captain during senior year … most improved player in softball … two-year varsity letter winner for softball and soccer … academic all-district, all-state, and all-conference … magna cum laude … scholar-athlete all four years for soccer and softball … also participated in weightlifting in addition to softball
 
PERSONAL:
Born on December 27 … parents are Brian and Wendy Swallow has one sibling, Zach Swallow … chose Goshen “because I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people I met on my tour, but also I live around here and have been to Goshen College many times and have always had a great experience. I also really like Coach Crew, his coaching staff, the team, and the way they coach so much. I knew this is where I wanted to be. My mom also went here and enjoyed it. Also, another bonus is that my family can come to all of my games and won't have to travel as far because I'm so close to home” … admires her parents “because of how hard they work for everything, how kind they are, and how supportive they are. I strive to be like them one day and I am proud to call them my parents” … little-known personal fact is “I started playing soccer when I was three years old and I haven't given up or stopped since” … best athletic moment was “a tie between me scoring the winning goal against Concord in the first round of Sectionals my sophomore year or when I made the All-District First-Team for soccer my junior year of high school”
