AT GOSHEN:
2012: Was one of four Maple Leafs to tally more than 250 kills (294)... played in a total of 34 matches and 123 sets as a sophomore... one of four players on roster to pick up more than 200 digs (230)... also tallied 32 blocks, 14 services aces, and 22 assists showing remarkable versatility and balance... had 11 matches with double digit kills, including five with 15 or more... career high 23 kills came in an exciting four-set win at Anderson on 9/29... had nine matches with at least 10 digs... care high of 22 came against Mount Mercy on 10/27 in the Cornerstone/ Aquinas Tournament... had 53 digs in four matches at that tournament... also had 51 kills in that four-match, two-day stretch.
2011: One of four Maple Leafs to play in all 32 matches... was one of four Goshen players (including one of three freshmen) with more than 200 kills (219)... also had 123 digs and 24 blocks... career high of 16 kills came in win over Marygrove College on 10/29... posted double-digits kills eight times, including a five-game streak in late October.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for Coach Lisa Pawlik at Penn High School… helped the Kingsmen to 4A state championship as senior… named 2nd Team All-Conference and Kiwanis Athlete of the Month… finished senior season with 228 kills, 189 digs, 34 service aces, and 28 blocks… was on Honor Roll.
PERSONAL:
Born on July 30… parents are Mike and Sheryl Heberling… sibling is Ashley … chose Goshen because "my major and athletics"… admires my parents because "of all the sacrifices they have had to make for me to get where I am today"… little known fact is "I have a pet duck named Leeroy."
