Sweep of CCU earns third win in four outings

CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Goshen College men's volleyball team picked up its third win in four matches Friday night, topping Cincinnati Christian University in three sets on the road.

The Maple Leafs (5-13) never trailed in the first set, holding CCU (1-12) to single-digit points until the Maple Leafs were within three points of the set. Goshen won 25-13 and 25-14 to start the match before taking four of the last five points in a 25-22 third-set win.

GC returns to action Wednesday at Adrian College in Michigan where it will play two matches against the host Bulldogs. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
