GOSHEN, Ind. - The women's basketball team extended their win streak to six games on Saturday. Goshen defeated Bethel 74-70 to pick up half a point toward the U.S. Highway 20 Cup competition.
The Pilots never had a lead in the game. The Goshen defense held them to just 21 points by the half while the Leafs put up 32. Bethel outscored their first half of scoring in each of the next two quarters individually, with 26 in the third and 23 in the fourth. They outscored GC by eight in the third quarter. However, Goshen was able to stave off the comeback and held on for a four-point win.
Syanne Mohamed scored 18 points with six rebounds and no turnovers. She is averaging 14.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season.
Zoe Zellers was just a rebound off from a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Ava Lickliter had seven assists and three steals.
Zion Neat and
Montasia McAllister each had eight points,
Sophia Eli had seven and
