ELGIN, Ill. - Judson's Javaris Wiggins and Anterrious Rhyan each scored over 20 points and Cee Jay Nwosu had a double-double as they took down the Goshen men's basketball team 85-61 on Saturday.
Goshen never had the lead in the game, but were down just one at 15-14. The Eagles ended the first half on a 28-10 run however, and were up 19 at the break. The Leafs made one of 11 three-point attempts in the first half.
GC had 13 more points in the second half compared to the first. Goshen also had seven more assists in that half, but Judson still outscored them by five and won 85-61.
Karson Jenkins had 17 points and seven rebounds.
Marcus Northern also had 17 points with four rebounds and three steals. He made seven of his 14 shots and was 3-5 from three.
Judah Simfukwe added 14 points with seven boards and
Kevin Cota put up a season-high nine rebounds. He is averaging 4.3 per game.
Goshen just has conference games remaining in the regular season. They are at Marian on Wednesday, January 3, at 7:30 pm.
