FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Kaden Johnson notched his third double-double of the season, but the Maple Leafs allowed 97 points for a second consecutive game in a 35-point loss at Saint Francis.
The Cougars went on an 11-0 run in the first half, turning a seven-point game into an 18-point lead for the home team. They had 54 points at halftime. Goshen allowed 11 fewer points in the second half, but they also scored ten fewer points themselves. Saint Francis is now 13-11 this season.
Kaden Johnson had 15 points and 13 rebounds for his third double-double this season. It is his fifth game this year with double-digit rebounds, and he was within one of his career-high.
Jo Kynard set season-high marks with four field goals, three three-pointers and 25 minutes of action. He finished with 12 points after putting up 15 against Marian on Saturday. He is now averaging 4.1 points per game.
USF had 12 more rebounds and seven fewer turnovers than Goshen. Dan McKeeman was their leading scorer with 23 points and no turnovers, hitting five of his seven shots from deep.
