PITTSBURGH, Pa. - After a scoreless first half, the Goshen men's soccer team lost 5-1 in Pittsburgh at Point Park University on Saturday afternoon. Transfer 
Aidan Twohig scored his first goal with the Leafs.
The teams had five shots apiece in the first half, but the Pioneers led the category 11-2 in the second. They scored the game's first goal 54 minutes in and added another in the 73rd minute. Just 20 seconds later was Twohig's goal off a rebound. Twohig is from Middlesbrough, England, and competed at Rose State Community College and William Penn. Yet the Pioneers responded with three more goals in the final 15 minutes. Two of the five came from Philipp Harder.
Mathurin Allawai had two shots on goal for the Maple Leafs. The other three came from Twohig, 
Tebello Ntene and Nate Reeser. 
Gregor Rommelspacher made two saves in goal.
Goshen hosts Olivet Nazarene on Wednesday, August 23, at 7:00 pm. The Tigers are ranked #20 in the NAIA coaches' preseason poll.
