GARY, Ind. - Goshen and IU-Northwest played to a scoreless draw on Wednesday night in Gary. The RedHawks now have four ties in five games, with their last three games all being 0-0 ties, while the Leafs sit at 5-1-1.
Victoria Naylor made four saves for Goshen during the shutout. IU-Northwest took 13 shots but only four were on frame. GC was limited to just three total shots and one on goal.
Sophia Yoder had a shot saved in the 56th minute and
Anita Tavares had an attempt hit the post in the 80th minute of play. Tavares also had Goshen's other shot on the evening.
IU-Northwest totaled nine corner kicks - the most the Maple Leafs have allowed to an opponent this year - but they couldn't convert on any of them. Goshen tied a season-low with just one corner kick.
The Leafs host Siena Heights on Saturday, September 16, at 7:00 pm - their last home nonconference game of the season.
