GOSHEN, Ind. - The GC women's volleyball team was dealt another three-set sweep to a Crossroads League heavy-hitter in Marian on Saturday afternoon. The Knights improved to 3-1 in the conference with the win.
Alaina Wolfe and
Kassidy Faler had nine digs each for the Leafs.
Marian had 11 blocks and won the assists category by 15. They had a .306 hitting percentage, while Goshen was at .079.
Faler, Wolfe, and
Kelsie Hankins each had an ace for Goshen. Wolfe is currently fourth in the Crossroads League with 194 digs. The second set was the most promising for the Leafs. They were down 21-18 when the Knights ended the set on a 4-0 run.
Emily Lynch had eight kills and Hankins had 21 assists.
Goshen starts a stretch of three straight road games before playing at home again 11 days from now. They begin at Spring Arbor on Wednesday, September 20, at 7:00 pm.
