HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington scored two second-half goals that were a minute and two seconds apart from each other during a 2-0 win over Goshen on Saturday afternoon. This was Goshen's first match in Crossroads League play this season.
Katie Hooley scored the first goal on a cross from Sophie Shepherd. Goshen goalie
Victoria Naylor tried to hit the ball away before it got to Hooley, but it was just beyond her outstretched arm. The second goal came from a perfect pass by Rhya Holliday that crossed the field and landed in front of Shepherd. After a few dribbles, the Foresters led 2-0.
Goshen had two shots in the first half but five in the second. Huntington had five in the first half and three in the second. Naylor made three saves for GC.
