HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Goshen lost a three-set match to Huntington on Saturday afternoon as they attempt to end their conference losing streak. The Foresters won 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.
The Maple Leafs had early deficits in all three sets. Though they were able to scrape through them somewhat, they made enough of a difference to change the game. HU led 5-0 in the first set, 4-1 in the second and 11-3 in the third. Goshen had 23 attack errors, which was a season-high for a three-set match.
Alaina Wolfe had 16 digs in the match. She has at least eight digs in each of her last 14 matches.
Kelsie Hankins had 17 assists, two aces and five digs.
Gwyn Bellamy led the team with eight kills and added four digs and a solo block.
Goshen now plays five home matches in a row, starting on Wednesday, September 27. They will face Taylor at 7:00 pm.
