GOSHEN, Ind. - Five different players scored for Spring Arbor during a 5-0 win in Goshen on Saturday evening. The Cougars improved their record to 7-2-3 overall.
Both teams increased their shot production from the first half to the second - the Cougars went from 7 to 13, and the Maple Leafs jumped from two to six. The Cougars led 2-0 after 16 minutes of lay, but their third goal didn't come until the 52nd minute. They followed that with goals in the 66th and 78th minute.
Samuel Marchi and
John Mlondani had shots on goal for GC, and
Gregor Rommelspacher made five saves.
Goshen hosts Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, October 7, at 2:00 pm. That game is Homecoming Weekend and the first birthday of Goshen College's mascot, Dash.
