GOSHEN, Ind. - In what can only be called a nailbiter, the Goshen Maple Leafs dropped a heartbreaker to the Crusaders of Madonna to lose 1-0 with a goal coming in the 75th minute.
Victoria Naylor played a solid game with five saves on the night, but unfortunately, it was one save short of a hard-fought tie. This loss is Goshen's first on the year, bringing their overall record to 5-1.
Offensively,
Seja Lang,
Sophia Yoder, and Madelyn Swallow were strong on the attack, with two shots on goal for Lang and Yoder and one for Swallow.
The Maple Leafs return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Indiana University Northwest to take on the RedHawks at 9:00 pm ET.
