GOSHEN, Ind. - Kyla Foster led the Maple Leafs in their home matchup against Taylor on Saturday with a double-double (15pts/11reb), but the Maple Leafs fell just short in the 79-72 loss. The loss brings Goshen to 8-9 (3-4 in Crossroads League play) on the year.

Syanne Mohamed and Montasia Mcallister had 12 points each, with Ava Lickliter adding 10 points as well. Goshen got off to a slow start early falling behind 8-0 before battling back to tie the game up at 14.  Down by 6 at the end of the first half, Goshen would not find itself on a hot streak to start the second half. 

 When the third quarter started, Goshen would go on a 7-0 run. Back and forth the two teams battled, and Goshen would go so far as to close the gap to 4, thanks to Zion Neat early in the 4th. 

Goshen (8-9, 3-4) hosts #2 Indiana Wesleyan University (16-1, 7-0) on Wednesday, January 17, at 6:00 pm at the Ruth Gunden Gymnasium.
