MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The #23 Bethel Pilots men's basketball team boosted their record to 16-4 overall as they defeated Goshen 91-58 on Saturday in Mishawaka. Karson Jenkins led the Leafs with 23 points.

Bethel scored 47 first-half points on 66.7% shooting, including 71.4% from three. The Leafs' offense stepped up from scoring 21 points in the first half and 37 in the second half. Goshen had a higher second-half field goal percentage than Bethel - 55.6% to 51.4%.

Jenkins shot 9-16 with 23 points. It was his ninth game this season with 20 or more points. Jared Bonds led the team with five rebounds and scored seven points. Marcus Northern had seven points, five assists and four rebounds.

Goshen hosts Saint Francis on Wednesday, January 31, at 6:00 pm for Cancer Awareness Night. Fans are encouraged to wear a cancer color that is either personally meaningful to them or that they feel compelled to support or represent.
