LIVONIA, Mich. - Goshen lost a lead with under five minutes to go against Lawrence Tech in a neutral site game held at Madonna University on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Devils won 87-76.
After
Judah Simfukwe made two free-throws to put Goshen up 70-69 with 4:50 to go, LTU ended the game on an 18-6 run. Andrew Rinn scored 32 points for Lawrence Tech with 11 rebounds.
Goshen's largest lead was with 12:02 to go in the second half when they were up 61-51. The Leafs trailed by three going into the half.
Judah Simfukwe had 20 points and eight rebounds and
Tariq Humes had 19 points and seven rebounds.
Kevin Cota scored ten points on 4-6 shooting.
Marcus Northern totaled nine points and four assists. Goshen is 3-3 against Lawrence Tech since 2014.
