Goshen falls to Saint Francis in high-scoring contest

Northern and Minarovjech had season-high point totals

GOSHEN, Ind. - Men's basketball fell to Saint Francis 103-83 on Saturday in Goshen. This was the most points Goshen had scored against USF in their last six meetings.

USF established an early advantage, jumping to a 6-0 lead. The Cougars maintained their momentum and extended their lead to 55-35 by the end of the half. Andre Bradford attempted to rally the Leafs with key three-pointers, yet USF consistently countered with points on fast breaks. The half concluded with both teams scoring 48 points.

Andre Bradford led the Leafs with 17 points. He made six baskets and hit three threes, matching his season-high with six rebounds. Tariq Humes also contributed significantly, scoring in double figures for a fourth straight game and in seven of his last eight. Richard Wilson excelled defensively, leading the team with two blocks and securing eight rebounds. Marcus Northern had two steals while hitting a season-high 13 points. Juraj Minarovjech had a season-high with eight points.

Isaiah Malone made 9-12 attempts for Saint Francis. Jackson Gowdy was 8-11 off the bench and Zane Burke was 6-8. The Cougars are 9-1 this season and 2-0 in league play, with their only loss to Rochester Christian by six points.
