INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Goshen women's soccer team lost 6-0 on the road at #10 Marian on Saturday. Marian's six goals came from six different players.
The Knights scored first in the 20th minute and added first half goals in the 38th, 39th and 42nd minutes. They scored just once in the second half until putting a second one in the back of the net with four seconds left on the clock.
Marian had 21 shots and 14 on goal and Goshen had two shots, neither on goal.
Aina Lopez came in to play the second half as goalkeeper for GC and made four saves while allowing two goals. Goshen's shots came from
Brynja Hjartardottir and
Madalyne Swallow.
Goshen will face their second straight top ten opponent this upcoming Wednesday, October 2. The Leafs will take on #8 Spring Arbor at 7:00 pm.
