GOSHEN, Ind. - Women's soccer was shutout 4-0 against #19 Taylor on Wednesday. The teams had tied in their previous matchup a year ago when the Trojans were receiving votes.

It was just 53 seconds into the match when TU got on the scoreboard. Eliza Luttrell scored on a cross from Kiana Siefert to the right post. They added two more first-half goals - one from Lydia Johnson in the 24th minute and another from Campbell Massey in the 36th minute. They had 21 first-half shots to Goshen's six.

The final Taylor goal came in the 66th minute from Kiana Siefert. Sophia Yoder had a valiant effort with eight minutes to go, but her attempt was caught by the outstretched arms of the goalkeeper.

Goshen ended with three shots on goal and Taylor had 14. Aina Lopez made ten saves - her third match this season with ten or more in a game. Isabel Massud had three shots and one on goal. Sophia Yoder and Alea Marx had the other shots on goal.

The Leafs are at Bethel on Saturday at 4:00 pm. The game was rescheduled from its original start time of 1:00 pm.
