MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Goshen women's soccer team made the short trip to Mishawaka to take on Bethel in a U.S. Highway 20 Cup matchup on Saturday. The Pilots came out on top 4-0.

Leena Thomas scored the first Bethel goal in the 27th minute, and then she added another 41 seconds later. Bethel held that 2-0 lead to halftime, and then added goals in the 50th and 83rd minutes. Goshen had just four shots but three were on goal. The Pilots had 22 total shots and 15 were on frame.

Aina Lopez made ten saves for the Maple Leafs. May Boudreau came off the bench and had two shots on goal. Sophia Yoder had a shot on goal and Yvonne Friedmann had a shot. Boudreau, who just returned to action on Wednesday after being out since September 3, has had five of her six total shots this season be on goal.

This was the most goals Goshen has allowed against Bethel since 2011. Aina Lopez is in the top five in the NAIA with 90 saves this season.
