GOSHEN, Ind. - On a day where nine seniors were recognized for their careers, the Maple Leafs breezed past Taylor, securing a dominant 81-63 win. After the game, the Leafs recognized

Ellie Fausnaugh.
The Leafs used a dominant second quarter to create a 14 point separation by halftime. The Leafs shot 73% in the second quarter, making eight of their 11 field goal attempts. During that span, the Leafs defense held Taylor to only three made field goals, which was a game low for Taylor shooting at 25%.Â
Taylor's offense picked up in the second half, but the Leafs had an answer for every Taylor basket. Over the final two quarters, the Leafs shot 55% from the field.Â
Senior
Emme Boots led the Leafs in scoring with a career-high 20 points. Boots went four for seven from three, which is a career-high in three pointers made in her career. Boots also grabbed six rebounds, which ties a season and career-high for a conference game.Â
Zion Neat scored 15 points on 64% shooting. Neat's career total points now sits at 2,015.Â
Senior
Syanne Mohamed had a dominant performance scoring 14 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Mohamed's 14 rebounds puts her at 812 career rebounds, which passes current assistant coach Jo'Mani Thomas for fourth all-time in GC rebounding history. Mohamed also swatted the ball three times, which is her fifth game this season where she's had three or more blocks.Â
Ava Lickliter and
Paula Ferrer Nolla each added 11 and ten points respectively. Lickliter also grabbed five rebounds and added four steals. Ferrer Nolla's ten points are a career-high in a conference game.Â
The Leafs improve to 11-14 overall and 5-11 in conference play. The Leafs will be back in action on Wednesday February 19th, taking on #2 IWU. Tip off is set for 5:30pm.

Fans, we would now like to recognize our 2025 women's basketball seniors. While their time at Goshen is coming to a close, their legacies are cemented into the history of Goshen College and they will forever be Maple Leafs.

Ava Lickliter! Ava is being escorted by her mom and stepdad Trang and Jeremie Campbell, her dad Ben Lickliter and her grandparents Sam and Regina Lickliter. She is a graphic design major and plans to move to Houston, Texas and either get a job in the graphic design field or to get back into education and get her teaching license. She also plans to travel a lot with her family. Thank you, Ava!

Emme Boots! Emme is being escorted by her parents Carrie and Braden Boots. She is an English education major with a minor in business and plans to teach English at Bluffton High School after college. She intends on getting her master's degree in education in the next few years and then has aspirations of getting her doctorate in education. Thank you, Emme!

Kyla Foster. Syanne is a nursing major. After college, she plans to become a nurse specializing in labor and delivery. She is excited about the opportunity to support expecting mothers and their families and is eager to continue learning and growing in the field. After a couple of years, she will return to school to earn her master's degree and become a nurse practitioner. Thank you, Syanne!
