GOSHEN, Ind. - The Lancers recorded their second conference win of the season as they defeated Goshen 94-78.
Grace's Emma Sperry started extremely hot, scoring 20 points in the first quarter. 14 of those points came in a span of less than three minutes.
Grace made a 23-6 run at the end of the first quarter into the start of the second. In response, the Maple Leafs made a 10-1 run in the second quarter to make the score 40-30. Both teams recorded 7-0 runs in the third quarter.
Carrie Hiler recorded two career highs. Hiler had five rebounds and three assists. She also recorded 16 points, her second most of the season.Â
Ava Egolf and
Paulecia Isom both scored 14 points. This is Isom's second highest points total of the season and her highest since November 1. For Egolf, she has recorded 10+ points in seven of the last 10 games.Â
Kyla Foster was dominant on the glass again. Foster recorded 12 rebounds, meaning she has grabbed 10+ boards in five of the last six games.
Lillian Null recorded a career high for steals with four.
The Maple Leafs finished with 34.6% shooting, their highest since November. The Leafs recorded 22 assists. That statistic is the highest it's been since November 2024.
The team also hosted staff appreciation day, where players invited a member of the Goshen College staff to the game and presented them with a token of appreciation after the game.
