GOSHEN, Ind. - Women's volleyball fell to the Huntington Foresters 3-0, picking up finals scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 25-16. 

In all three sets, the Maple Leafs struggled to get a strong start, and thus were fighting their way back from a deficit basically the whole match. The Foresters had two four-point runs and one seven-point run to start off the sets. 

The Leafs made the biggest dent in the second set, picking up a four-point run of their own early on in the set and getting them right back in the contest. The Leafs led 8-7 at one point in the set. Then, after trailing later in the points, they went on another four-point run to bring themselves back into striking distance. 

Mary Osten had a standout performance, as this was her third game in a row picking up 16 or more digs with her 17 tonight. Sami Lard led in kills with seven, followed closely by Carmin Corey with six. This is Corey's sixth game in a row as the player with the highest or second highest kill total on the night. 

Armani Guidry-Austin led the Leafs in blocks with three, with Corey and Railynn Bowman picking up two as well. 

The Maple Leafs are back in action at home Saturday, Sep. 19 at 1 p.m. to take on the #7 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats, hoping to find a conference win.
