Box Score YPSILANTI, Mich. — Four Maple Leafs scored in double figures Sunday afternoon in a men's basketball exhibition between Goshen College and Eastern Michigan University at EMU's Convocation Center. The Eagles won 97-74.

Despite playing against an NCAA Division I defense, Goshen racked up 22 assists against 15 turnovers; the Maple Leafs assisted on more than three-fourths of their made baskets and finished with one more dime than EMU did.
Stuckey tied for the game lead with 5 assists while Mansbarger had 4 off the bench. Barrie led the Maple Leafs with 3 steals.
Goshen shot 40 percent (14-of-35) from the floor in the first half, getting 10 points from Branagan and 8 from Barrie in the opening 20 minutes. GC also dropped in seven 3-pointers in the second half, getting two apiece from Stuckey, Mansbarger and Tamaje Blackwell.
Eastern scored 54 points on 20-of-35 shooting in the first half and took a 21-point lead into halftime. Over the final 20 minutes of the contest, the margin on the scoreboard was 43-41 as GC held its host to 1-for-6 from long range and forced 9 turnovers.
The game marked a return to the Convocation Center for Goshen head coach Jon Tropf, who was a manager for the Eagles from 2008-12 during his time as an undergraduate student.
Quoting GC head coach Jon Tropf:
"Today was a really cool experience for me personally and also a great experience for our team. Getting to play in that type of atmosphere is really fun and exciting. These games help us prepare against better athleticism and allows us some flexibility with lineups. We had some nice runs today which was good to see as well. I'm very pleased by our effort, and excited for how this will prepare us moving forward."
